What can you expect when choosing 3Bidz Windows?

AiStock_000005534652XSmalls we talk with our potential clients about their needs for replacement windows and patio doors, I often discuss our partners and the quality of our products. I firmly believe that the companies we work with and the type of windows we offer set 3 Bidz Windows apart from our competition. I’d like to offer you more information today about what you can expect when choosing 3 Bidz Windows.

When I founded 3 Bidz Windows, it was my goal to offer the best service, quality and pricing for the replacement windows and patio doors that my customers needed. I looked at many different manufacturers and after much review, I decided to partner with Amerimax Windows. Why? First of all, they are manufactured right here in Loveland, CO. They have been operating since 1983 and are built for elevations 4500 feet and greater. Perfect for use in our home area. In addition, they offer great after the sell customer service. Since they are local, I know the people that sell and build the product and should there ever be an issue, I can talkwith them directly rather than some faceless person on the phone. Here are a few additional key reasons for my choice:

1. At 3 Bidz Windows, family is important to me. And I look at my customers as if they were family too. It was important to me to find a manufacturer that shared the same thoughts. And with Amerimax, I found that too. In my opinion, “Amerimax does not have a corporate feel. It is family oriented and we really relate to that. “

2. Another key factor in choosing the best company to partner with was their use of quality products. At Amerimax, they use virgin vinyl framing that does not fade, crack or warp in the dry sun and intense climate found here in Colorado. Most other companies that are selling replacement windows in Colorado I’ve found are selling recycled framing. This just isn’t good enough. Recycled framing is noted for cracking, fading and warping in these harsh conditions. Replacement windows and patio doors are an investment and I’m not willing to sell you a product that is going to fail quickly.

3. The windows we replace are all energy star rated. The glass is manufactured by Cardinal Glass, known to be the largest and best glass company in the United States. Cardinal Glass supplies more than 85% of all glass for allmanufactures in the USA. They make the best insulated glass in the marketplace, which is low E366. The windows we install through Amerimax are branded as AG3, which is the same as low E366 glass.

Fiber Cement vs. Vinyl Siding

What to choose – vinyl siding or fiber cement siding. Sometimes choosing between the two can be tricky, but we’re here to give you an unbiased account of the pros and cons of both.

Cost: In general, vinyl siding costs less than fiber cement siding.

Return on investment: Home sellers get an average of 98% return on their investment with fiber cement siding and 92% return with vinyl siding.

R-Factor: Vinyl siding comes attached to insulation and adds an R-factor of 5 to your existing outer walls. Fiber cement siding (without insulation) add up to 0.15. Add the insulation to the fiber cement and your R-factor will increase by at least 3.

Looks: Both products can look like real wood, but subjectively, more people seem to prefer the look of fiber cement.

Homeowners Associations: Old vinyl siding has kind of a bad wrap so some HOAs do not allow it (they used to droop and sag). Biases against fiber cement siding are not common. You will need to check with your HOA before purchasing either type.

Fiber Cement Siding

Fiber cement siding – sounds heavy doesn’t it?! Well, it is – it’s made mostly of concrete, but don’t let that fool you, this is one of the most attractive and hottest products on the market.

Fiber cement siding looks like real wood, or shingles, or gingerbread, or stucco, or even smooth. This is a heavy duty product (no pun intended!). It resists damage from cold and windy climates (perfect for Colorado and Wyoming homes). Temperature swings won’t affect this product and it’s designed to withstand hurricane force winds. It resists rotting and cracking in damp climates, has the highest possible rating to stop the spread of fires, provides protection from the impact of hail, and insects like termites don’t find it appetizing!

The fiber cement siding we use, James Hardie, comes in 12 beautiful colors – or it comes preprimed for you to choose your own. Either way, this siding comes with a 15 year paint guarantee – no painting for at least 15 years!!! The siding has a 30-year limited warranty that is transferrable if you sell your house.
